Please do take note that our class have produced, DRUMROLL, the HEADPREFECT and CHIEF for year 2006/2007. As well as many many many heads/captains/presidents. And the most number of students in a secondary 2 class in year 2005 to have went IP. And I think the most number of OALs if I am not wrong. And many many many more achievements!

Wow.

Of course, other achievements like academic(coughsjamiecoughs) and other more tangible ones won't be put down because they are kinda hard to take stock of yeah?(: So there are the ones that I can put down in pen and paper. Or blog and blogger.

Oh manz. It's my first time posting... I really miss Cedar and 2/I alot...Remembering the times we had together, they're actually quite fun-filled and rewarding times. Although i wasn't wad u call the few popular ones in class....i was one of those ppl who are quite unpopular... @ NUS High, boys and girls, so there's not much of a class bond...and shockingly, they( both boys and girls) like me quite alot...i tink i make them laugh too much.. well the guys are abit rowdy, really. this post was written with tears dropping down.

i read many seniors' blogs, about them missing cedar, crying and sobbing. then i started thinking about our class. will we ever have the same feeling? the class splitting up:it's considered a small one compared to the sec4s graduation, but it is a feeling definitely to be felt. a feeling that may differ from one another. some may think that oh thank goodness i'm leaving this class. others may cry and regret for not cherishing every second spent with each other. but whatever the feeling felt, it must have a bit of reluctance to leave the class im definitely sure, for your friends that have accompanied you through the dark moments, for the memories shared with one another in the class. there must be a special feeling about the class.

believe me, that this blog will be at its deathbed about april2006. there's only 9 more days to be spent together in the class 2i. then we will wave each other goodbye and hug one another in tears. then the chapter closes, welcoming a brand new chapter of our individual lives. remember: there's no turning back in a story, only reminiscing about the past. the book may be old and tattered, but the memories in it will be definitely well-kept i hope.

This post shall be posted with perfect english, but the problem is that my english is very poor.

first thing: EYEs are over! whee! aren't you guys happy? it's been a long time since we started mugging for EYEs. i believe that everyone has indeed worked very hard for the streaming. Actually i think that the whole class is very smart, as in all has the potential to do some things. but didn't know that not a lot of people in our class wants to go triple science.

results are back on monday. be it you dread it, or you're looking forward to the results, you have to face it. i know everyone went to have fun during the short holidays! because that's the only time when you can really put down everything and have fun before you face the worst thing. but promise that we'll have fun after the results! like holidays! anyway where is our chalet coming to? must book in advance. or else later nothing for us. then we'll have to go someone's house for a chalet. any recommendations for chalet? aloha loyang(my dad can get a discount), sentosa, cxxta sun sands sea(not that good)?

ok get to the streaming part. i think less than half the class are interested in triple science. more of double science. like geog and ss hist, geog and ss lit, hist and ss geog, f&n, art class, lit and ss geog/hist. pure geog and ss history is a hot stream. cause ss and history are very similar. besides, we have very good geog teachers, like mrs vivien koh and lim kim choo. thumbs up! cause they spoonfeed people according to my seniors. literature is not bad, cause our class have people who have potential. but my friend recommends pure lit instead of ss lit due to the same percentage in ss and a poem/prose. but hope that everyone gets into the stream of their preferred choice.

everyone cherish the class for everyone's sake promise? as i've said in the past, now there's only 2weeks left. it will be a very short period. but miss everyone k? the 2-ingenious class: 1. inventive: possessing cleverness and imagination 2. clever and effective: clever, original, and effective. we are the efficient and effective class. whee!

i know i may be very naggy, but i thought that this is pretty impt...

rmbr last year we got first for lots of things? cuz i tot we were the best, n i still think this way now... then i tot that now we are no longer that class who was outstanding...

i know things change pretty fast, just like when we go to different classes when we're in sec3... our friendship changes.. everything goes away when ure not in the same class... i know that day will eventually come... it will.. so no point telling pple that it will not come... within 6mths u go with ure own class n that u forgot everything that happened in the past, the memories... n rmbr, things will never be the same tml... never..

i want to stop walking now, stop looking forward to the future..and just sit down and never move on... i want the class to remain like that and only like that... that we need not split and every other thing... i know it's impossible.. i know no matter how much crap i have written here wouldn't change the fact that is coming soon...

we only(not still) have another 6(or perhaps only 4,5) more months to go... it isn't long... rmbr the very first day of school... it seems to be only few days ago... that was jan, and now it's july... we don't have much time left, seriously.. when all the tests and exams get in your way, u really don't have alot of time.. so rather than regretting it later.. why don't u cherish all of us now...

Hey everyone! Has been a long time since I entered 2-I's blog and entered some post or what. LOL. :D All because of the tests, MYE and I don't know what else. NAH. Don't want to think about it. GAH. I guess your don't understand what I am talking about but anyway, that's not the point I want to talk about in this post. It is about 2 stuff which I think the class should know. Okay. So here goes:

Thing Number 1. It is somewhat like the follow-up of Yu Sin's previous post. The thing is that I heard from someone about some comments that a teacher said about our class. And what I mean by comment is definetely something not good. And what's more, it is about our class's ATTITUDE. Look. Two teachers in just a year have already been telling other classes about 2-I's attitude. What do you make of that? You all know who the first teacher is, so I shall not talk about that anymore, but the point is this. What is 2-I becoming of? I know what you all did were not intentional. You all didn't expect it to turn out so badly, and I know it is not your fault. But then again, it is not good to gain a bad reputation with teachers either.

Look. Compare 1-I 2004 with 2-I 2005 and you see the difference. I don't know what to make of this matter because a) it is not our fault b) there is nothing one can do, but the only advice I can give is please, be on your best behaviour around teachers and that it the best I can say.

Second thing. I find this important, very in the sense. I have been hearing too much of backstabbing of friends between friends in 2-I and who knows what else all this while. I don't hear it once. I hear it so many times that I get extremely disheartening. Disheartening in the fact that what is 2-I is becoming. Like how friends can say to one another, "I don't really like [insert name here] you know." And they are actually CLASSMATES.

I emphasize the word classmates. Sometimes, I even wonder, that there would be people that are actually saying "I don't like Wei Ling. She sucks." Right behind my back. I hate that feeling and I am sure no one likes it either. And the point is that the probabilty of this actually happening is so high, I can't believe it is actually happening in 2-I. The class that is supposedly united.

Yes. It is supposedly united. United on the outside, everyone seems like good friends with each other. But on the inside, friendships between one another are filled with cracks. And once a person is not within hearing distance, there will be backstabbings, complaints of that person, etc. And when I hear of them, sometimes, I think why can't people just forgive and forget?

Look. I am not telling everyone to LOVE everyone in the class. I don't expect of that, for I know that one man's meat is another man's poison. Sure. Everyone has a right to love and hate. But no one has the right to hold grudges, to backstab, to be such low-down human beings. Sure, you are unhappy with someone. You don't complain to your friends, you tell it to that person outloud, so that person can change. It can hurt, but both ways, it is for the better.

You can also learn to actually forgive that person. Know the phrase, "To err is mortal, to forgive is divine"? Everyone is a human being, no one is perfect. Everyone has their flaws and of course, their good points. You can't expect everyone to be like an angel to everything. Either you learn to forgive and tolerate, or you tell that person to change for the better, but not, thank you very much. BACKSTAB.

If all this continues, I have no idea what 2-I is going to turn out like. I can't imagine. Hyprocrites everywhere, bad reputation and that is enough for a class's problems. Just think about it. I am not trying to reprimand those that HAVE backstabbed, for I knew I once did that too. But the most important thing is to regret one's actions, to repent, to become a better person for the future. I don't know whether the Ice-creamerx can do that. I believe you can, and I hope the backstabbing will stop. It hurts the ears.

hey all ice-creamers! i'm back again! here this time to remind you all of the good standard to mantain. i'm speaking as a classmate, not as i prefect so don't worry, it will not be about school rules.

okay. here goes. well, i feel that our class's standard is really dropping. cleanliness, efficiency and even our forte, our grades, are dropping. i mean we are the class known for our good conduct and all, not forgetting we topped the level last year in science. so why is this happening to us, especially that now is the STREAMING year!!!

first i would like to mention the copying of homework. i don't deny copying homework SOMETIMES but this copying trend is too many. for every piece of homework someone is copying. hopefully it will stop. and it SHOULD stop, since we are in the streaming year. hello?

yeah, this year is a stressed year. all the homework and tests all crammed into one week. but still, we have to do our homework. reduce internet-usage-time or watch tv-time? whatever. just do your homework.

then i feel that we are slacking and very lax. during lessons there are bound to be unattentive people. i understand that the lessons are boring but as least we should not sleep. i don't deny sleeping again, but maybe we can change? i will try my best.

and also, we must RESPOND!!! it may be hard to respond when the lesson is boring but can those who notice the teacher asking something please answer? maybe because nobody answers so one or two of us don't dare to answer. i dont know. but please answer is you can. a simple 'yes' or 'no' would be greatly appreciated.

due to the above reasons, teachers are getting irritated with our class, i feel. for example, surely someone notices that ms thang is fiercer nowadays? i guess it's because she can see that we are slacking. and we really don't understand many logics, which worries her. so lets just study alright? then we can answer her questions and she would not be so harsh.

another example is mrs chia. remember her coming into class today like so fierce? she did not see us in groups then our class so messy some more... please, DONT LEAVE YOUR THINGS ON THE FLOOR! just chuck them under your table if worst come to worst. sigh.

last example is think would be mdm goh. think our class is too unresponsive during her lessons now that she just leaves us to do what we want. its like 'Do if you want. Don't if you dont. i don't care'. we may like it for a moment as we can do what we like but surely one can notice that she has kind of given up on us? i don't know.

in conclusion,

everyone please do your homework at least.
pay attention is class. please try not to sleep.
respond during Q and A time.

i fell. and i thought it was minor. but well, i fell terribly, horribly, i think i am going to get paralysed if i fell a little more hard.

at first i thought it was just a slight muscleache. and i ignored it.
then i could not sleep well due to the pain. i went school as usual and everything was normal. except the fact my left leg started to make me limp. and i sort of became a temporary lamer.

i decided to go to a doctor.yes and i went to two doctors.
a chinese one and a western one. (: both were friendly only that the chinese doctor was a bit bigger in size and he was super professional. he looked fierce but he is nice(:

the western (english) doctor told me .if i wan to just in case anything more bad happens, go take an x-ray. woah. i was shocked because i thought it was just a muscle overpulled or something! and my mum asked what the doctor can help me, he said: i think you should go to the chinese physician next door. (:
the western doctor didnt charge us. ohh. i love him-so kind

i went to the chinese doctor next door and waited for two long hours. i was very worried and the pain was haunting me. i sobbed silently and my mum dried my tears and told me not to be worried. finally it was my turn, i shivered. i went into the room and saw the fierce looking doctor and he said :little girl, what happened to you? in chinese. and i replied in english " i have PAIN. in my thigh.

he 'HUH-ed' very loudly and my mum translated (: that was the point of having my mum along, i guess. and well, i just realised i do not know what is the chinese terms for thingh,muscle,ankles, hips,spine, waist and others (: wells. now that i know, i have learnt something today (:

he is super muscular and he asked me to lie down. i did. and guess what, he do all sorts of stuffs with my body parts. at that point of time, i really thought i was going to break into pieces. i cried and screamed. and the helper outside came in and asked what happened. and a thousand and one people tried to peep in to see what was the gal (me) was trying to do.

okay. i confess : i yelled around 4 times? (: (: (: (: (:
and i cried throughout the whole thing (:
and i was super super depressed.

because the muscular big sized chinese doctor says i have many injuries.
1.my joints below waist level are mostly out of place
2.my left thigh has an overpulled muscle
3.my right ankle has a badly badly dislocated joint
4.the right side above my right butt was aching cause of some very detailed thingy which i do not understand what the doctor was saying
and if i were to fall a little more hard, i might get a very bad bad fall and really end myself up hospitalised or something.

but praise the lord. i didnt (:

Okay. Some reminders on what we should be starting to do for our class. Please remember, remember to bring the plants! They must be 20cm x 20cm in size. Second point. We desperately need to tear down the cute big red fish. We have been kind of slack for the class decoration and no one seems to want to do anything. i am not here to grumble, i am not here to nag. i am here just to post what i feel.all thoughts are from deep down my heart. if you ever get offended or whatsoever, CHILL cause i am not pointing at anyone's nose, telling them to confess. what's more. it do not concern any of you. unless. unless you yourself are guilty of it.

what are school rules for? abiding to it. i can say that many students have the wrong concept of what school rules are for. are school rules really just for pupil leaders?just for those who are supposed to be role models? are school rules just for those who were expected to abide them? but have you think twice.

school rules are there for every single one of us. and i mean EVERY SINGLE ONE. yeah. even though not every single student follow the school rules. the most common school rules broken are:
1)ATTIRE-most of the time, pupils tuck out their blouse. fold their skirts. unbuttoning.loose tie.ANKLE SOCKS.

2)EATING IN CLASS- oh man, we are totally sick of this. why eat in class when there is a DINING HALL for all of us? what for eat in class and dirty the whole place. dont you people ever realise how filthy our classroom is? dont you people ever realise all these chips of food will attract insects? i bet you didnt.

3)USING THE PHONE IN CLASS- i have nthg to say about this. you people know who you are.

those are the three rules which are always. always,always broken by students. i didnt say every single one of us. but maybe you should reflect and see whether you break any of the rules. if you do. you seriously need to do some change.

for joke: if we do not have students who break school rules, prefects and student leaders can close business. because we will not have anything to do if they all abide the school rules.

BUT THIS WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER HAPPEN.

happy bimbotically-belated BIRTHDAY to stafani!
okayy. i wanted to post yesterday and i did! However, blogger does not seem to like me or something, so i have to re-post. and i was sick and tired or typing everything all over again, so i only blog today.
alright. that is not the point.

the point is i am sorry. maybe you would not know who i am apologizing to, but yes. i am so sorry. i did not even relise that our friendship was still strong enough to pull me through those weeks when i sulked and rattled too much. i blamed you, i was so pissed off at you. but as time goes by, i thought of those days when we were fine and i still think it was not your fault, but it was not mine too. it was time's fault. time changed everything. it changed me, it changed you. i can no longer stick close to you because everything seemed to change. we do not go out often anymore, we do not participate in things togeher anymore, we have different time-tables and activties and things started to change drastically.

i shall try not to sulk so much and thank you my table-partner! i love you to bits and pieces and you know you rock my toes and fingers! and yes, everyone do not get upset over all the results and stuffs. [actually i am also upset..] but HEYS! ook everyone, we shall not stop here.let all of us continue to work hard and score even better for upcoming tests!

Today I feel so sad... I feel as though I am going to score badly for my tests. Although we have a two day off but it feels like my schedule has become more hetic. I think i am going to score badly for history (no confidence in myself ).

This is Ms Chia again. Apologies for not writing for a long time. Work does not permit me to do so.... Anyway, yes I have heard about the many tests coming up next week. Do not be too stressed and just do your best. In fact, girls, if you have been concentrating in class and being consistent in revising the day's work normally, you should not have much problem just revising what has been taught to you. Yes, I know you must be saying, "Huh? I have not been doing that at all!! That is why I am stressed!" Yes, so just let this be a lesson learnt not to do so in future.

I have read some of your entries. Thank you for writing in standard English. Keep up the spirit! However, I don't think that I have heard from everybody. Are the rest reading the blog? Ok, something for all of you to comment now. Could you let me have your feedback about whether you enjoy reading the newspapers subscribed for you on Mondays? Another matter is about your views about the assembly prog that you have had so far? Has it been enjoyable and educational for you so far?

hey everyone! (: -grins- just wanted to blog some stuff here out of pure boredom. -grins- well, i was doing my batik thing this afternoon. in other words, boiled it to get rid of the icky wax. so i soaked it into this big metal bowl that my mother somehow digged out. x) and i boiled it. felt like boiling soup. x-x and the water turned really murky. i think the colour ran, especially the blue and the black. so it became soya sauce soup. x) wahahaha. but it isn't supposed to be like that isn't it? sheesh.

eh. but never mind. it became okay in the end. i was really hoping that the colour would run. so that my batik would be lighter. i painted it wayyy too dark. x-x i didn't like the border around it. looks really horrible. the disadvantage of batik is that you can't stand back, inspect your work and add some dabs of paint here and there to make it look better. it's the type that is when you boil it out, it's game over. x(

gahh. maybe i would see if there's anyway to make it better at the next art lesson. -grins- (: everything would be okay i guess. (: argh. you all must hate my rantings. x-x oh well, shall end here then. still wishing that it would rain. the sky is all grey, overcast with those rain-clouds. but it just wouldn't rain!! Yes girls. This is Ms Chia here. Hope I will not shock some of you who do not know that I have access to this. But anyway, a BIG THANKS to Connie for doing this blog up. It is beautiful. Nice layout and picture. And thanks to everyone's effort to write in proper English! Commendable for I know that most of your conversations on the Internet are probably a quarter of the length of all your entries, with all the usual abbreviations and Singlish. However, we do need to try our very best to use proper English, even though it is so easy to speak in Singlish with so many other languages surrounding us. So in order to improve, we have to use it more often.

Well, I will try to post some topics that I feel may be interesting and please feel free to respond to them as I feel that it is a good way to read of some of your views and opinions. As for some of you who have yet to go on this blog, I do hope to hear from some of you too. Let us all remember that this blog should only serve to bring a smile to everyone's faces and be a useful tool to bond all closer together, and not for any other purposes. I do not wish for the blog to have any negative effects on any individual here. Agreed?

In any sense, I am glad to hear that a couple of you are serious about your studies and even noting that this year is the streaming year from some of your feedback to me. Do your best and I believe that you will be able to get into the stream you desire for if you work for it!

I am actually quite happy and glad that our english and science tests are finally over! I had a terrible time trying to memorize the valencies! and remembering the formulaes! but finally, it is over. [i sound as though examinations are over! x))] Okehh very well.

Mine is still a mystery although i already found some clues... Sad... Aiyah, i'm soooooo worried about the maths test. I think i'm gonna fail it. hello everyone! the lame arica is here!
Okay, as i can see, i am supposed to type in proper english. Therefore, i shall try my very best to complete this post in full proper english. Today,[monday obviously] is a very hot day. I certainly agree with Weiling.[nods head!] and i presume tomorrow will be as humid and hot as this. However, i really hope that the weather is going to be rainy. The reason is there is jogging tomorrow!

Let me see, i think this year started out greatly! and everyone in our class are so bonded together. i am already thinking of what would happen on our last day of school. We would surely cry our hearts out. But think carefully. We shall cherish every moment we have together, spent everyday meaningfully, even every second, millisecond. We must unite and be bonded till the very last day of our lifes! Is it agreeable? I hope so!

Probably some of you may think that i am blogging rubbish. However, i sincerely hope everyone will give it a thought. I do not want anyone to regret on the last day of school. In conclusion, all 2-i-creamerx we shall unite and love one another, care and help one another till the end of the world. Friends Forever!

Lastly, i would like to thank connie, for doing this blog. i suggest we shall have all our tchers name, and after we took our class photograph this year, we shall put the picture as one part of the template.
